In 1979, in efforts to assure the public and prove that his stretch limousines were even safer than a normal car, Earle F. Moloney directed a crash test of his Cadillac limousine into a barrier wall at 31 mph.  The results of this crash test exceeded industry safety standards even suprised Cadillac Engineers. Today, Lehmann-Peterson implements the same all-steel construction methods.

Beyond the added interior space provided in the Cadillac XTS-L Long Door Sedan, perhaps the next best feature of this vehicle is that Lehmann-Peterson has maintained the five Star Safety rating which is standard in the Cadillac XTS.
